According to the few research records available, as Nineveh extends its body, a concentrated and potent Ether flows towards its core through its "rhizome," providing a constant supply of energy. Some scholars speculate that this behavior is akin to the photosynthesis process in plants.
In the course of its swaying motions, excess highly active Ether energy continuously pours out. When this accumulation of highly active Ether is nearly overflowing, it transforms, unveiling its true "blossoming" form.
And with its bloom comes death.
"The good news is it doesn't mean any harm, it just absorbs nutrients for photosynthesis. The bad news is... we're the nutrients."
